All oven models are manufactured exclusively in France, made from rigorously selected, natural components. The raw stones extracted from the Vosges Mountains or from the quarry workers at Tain are wholesome and robust. Guyon is the only enterprise in the world with such extensive use of naturally heat-resistant materials.

“Guyon”’s business practices reflect the history of a trade.
At its origin is a story of a family of stonemasons. The first ovens, made entirely in ashlar, make to live the ancestors and birth the idea of the first evolution of their expertise.
With the appearance of the first baking ovens, the artisanal landscape counted the first “Guyon Ovens.” An oven shared among the whole village, constructed like a veritable house.
Today, with the rise of industry, nothing relinquishes our attachment to the tradition and rules of our craft. The fourth generation of “Guyon”, like the generations before, applies itself to perpetuate the techniques guaranteed to produce the best quality while continuing to evolve itself.

What does delivering excellence mean to us?
It is not determined solely by the French quality of the product, nor by our perfectionism. It’s the ability to adapt our processes to original products for the most discriminating clients.
Although most of Guyon’s products are standard, our production knows how to adapt itself to custom orders.
For example, we needed to think of unique solutions for ovens in mobile bakery trucks or to embed a bakery oven in a French Navy building, taking into account such factors as extremely low ceilings, and the constraints of safety and reliability.
From the beginning, Guyon voluntarily committed itself to environmental responsibility.
Above and beyond the decrees of the Grenelle 2 Law, and well before the emergence of the concept of Social and Environmental Responsibility (RSE) during the 50s, Guyon was engaged in its own environmental policy.
A titular example: Guyon stopped using asbestos five years before its being outlawed!

Founded in 1864, Guyon ovens are unique in their perpetuation of thousands of years of cooking technology. The ovens reflect and conserve heat radiation through the use of stones extracted from quarries at Tain. We are the only company in the world to use this naturally reflective material in all of our oven models.
